Reading Families

‘Mothers and fathers involvement in reading is the most important determinant of their child’s early language and literacy skills’  Department for Education

Good reading development starts in the home

Our workshops and accredited courses for parents and carers deliver simple strategies which will really help a child’s experience of reading. Covering all phases of development, from toddlers to teenagers, we share the skills a parent or carer needs to confidently support reading development at home.

We’ll discuss how to raise a child’s confidence, tackle reading difficulties, encourage a life-long love of reading and build a learning partnership with school.

“Thank you! This course has given me much more confidence. Before the course I didn’t think I could cope, but now I am even getting comments from teachers about my daughter’s improvement!”
